More Cup Final tickets on way

HEARTS and Hibs are set to receive extra tickets for the Scottish Cup final after the uptake by Hampden debenture holders was lower than predicted.

The Scottish Football Association had indicated that just a few debenture briefs would be given to the Edinburgh clubs, but a larger number than expected remain available. The additional tickets will be split equally between the clubs, so on May 19th there could be 44,000 Capital fans inside Hampden, which holds 51,063.

Both sides have been selling briefs to their season ticket holders since last week, but could now receive more than 1000 extra tickets in the next few days.
