Leigh Griffiths to stay until the summer

Hibernian have secured the services of Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leigh Griffiths on loan until the end of the season.

The former Livingston and Dundee forward has scored four goals for his boyhood club since arriving at Easter Road on loan in August.

The 21-year-old told Hibernian’s official website: “I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here at Hibs so far and the fact I’m going to stay at least until the summer is something I’m really pleased about.

“I want to give everything I can to help the team to achieve success and improve results during the second half of the season.

“I love playing for Hibs and this whole experience has been like a dream come true for me.”
