Hibernian draw Rangers in Challenge Cup tie

RANGERS will host Hibernian at Ibrox for the first round of the Challenge Cup.

Hearts will play Annan Athletic at Tynecastle, while Petrofac Training Cup champions Raith Rovers will take on Dunfermline at East End Park in a Fife derby.

East Stirlingshire will host Falkirk in one of the other plum ties of the cup, who named Petrofac Training Services as their new sponsor earlier this week.

The first round ties will be played on 26 July. Rangers’ match with Hibernian will be rearranged due to a scheduling conflict with the Commonwealth Games.
