The 22-year-old joined the Capital club on a six-month deal in January after being released from his contract with Wigan Athletic, having moved south on a £500,000 deal from Aberdeen in the summer of 2012.

Fyvie played 17 games in that spell for Hibs scoring two goals and he admitted in signing his new deal he wanted to repay head coach Alan Stubbs for the faith he’d shown in him.
