Hibs: Your Say

MIXED feelings from Hibbies about the new stand.

Stevie Duff, Meadowbank: "It is going to feel wrong not having the East Terrace as it is any more. This is the part of the stadium where the more vociferous and passionate of fans could still stand and have a wee chant to create a bit of atmosphere. I don't like sitting down and the prospect of being told by the police or some trainspotter of a fan to sit down will put me off going and I'm not the only fan who feels this way. This Saturday will be a sad day."

George Gibb: "Things can only be good for the club and fans with the new stand. Let's have some positive results on the field to go with it."

Colin McKay, shareholder from Restalrig: "Hibs fans want transparency. It is not acceptable for Scott Lindsay to be unwilling to state the cost or source funding for the new stand. Please give us all the info."

James Smith, Edinburgh: "Hibs have basically been in third place so far, but don't get the praise they deserve. Yogi must be manager of the season for what he and the backroom staff and all the people involved with Hibs have done. When the split comes, we will see how far Yogi has got us and it can only get better, a new East Stand will make Easter Road a fortress."
