How the two teams might line up tomorrow

Probable Hibernian team (4-4-2): Virtanen; Gray, McGregor, Hanlon, Stevenson; Fyvie, McGinn, Henderson, Boyle; Cummings, Stokes. Subs from: Logan, Thomson, Bartley, Handling, Shaw, Gunnarsson, Dagnall, Donaldson.

Unavailable: El Alagui, Carmichael, Fontaine, McGeouch (all injured); Keatings, Oxley (both suspended).

Team news: Captain David Gray was taken off just after half time in the 2-2 draw with Falkirk. Norwegian stopper Niklas Gunnarsson could deputise if Gray doesn’t make it, with youngster Callum Donaldson in line for a seat on the bench. Hibs will definitely be without Dylan McGeouch, who is nursing a troublesome groin complaint but Liam Henderson could return to the starting XI after starting on the bench midweek.

Probable Dundee United team (4-4-1-1): Kawashima; Knoyle, Morris, Dillon, Dixon; Paton, Demel, Rankin, Dow; Murray; Mckay. Subs from: Szromnik, Erskine, Spittal, Fraser, Donaldson, Anier, Ofere, Muirhead.

Unavailable: Durnan (suspended).

Team news: Mixu Paatelainen has nearly a full squad at his disposal, but the Finn will be making most changes in defence, with Mark Durnan suspended and Gavin Gunning having left the club this week. Sean Dillon and could come in for the suspended Durnan, while Coll Donaldson is another option. Henri Anier, who spent time on loan at Hibs, scored a brace in the last round for United, but has struggled in league matches and could start on the bench.
