The 24-year-old former Portugal Under-21 international will be included in Hibs' squad for tomorrow's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at Hamilton after Calderwood today confirmed the paperwork had been completed.

The Hibs boss said: "Everything's completed now so we're delighted to announce he's confirmed as a Hibernian player.

"He's missed a bit of football so there's a bit of fitness he's got to regain, but we'll stick him in the squad for tomorrow night.

"The reason to bring him in is to try and see what he can do - we'll try and push that as soon as possible.

"It's an opportunity for him and ourselves to assess one another and see if we can have a fruitful end to the season.

"He's got good pace, good technical ability and has shown good shooting prowess in training."
