It was supposed to be a straightforward victory for Hibs at the home of their bitter rivals who were languishing at the foot of the table having taken a 15-point hit for entering administration. The Easter Road supporters who packed the away end at Tynecastle arrived in a jovial mood but saw a legitimate goal chalked off for offside, and left under a cloud after another defeat accelerated their descent into the play-off spot, resulting in relegation via a penalty shoot-out defeat by Hamilton Accies. Hearts were automatically relegated but spent just one season in the second tier as they roared back to the Premiership in some style under Robbie Neilson's guidance.
