Celtic linked with international striker

Celtic have been credited with interest in striker Jorge Benguche, according to reports in Honduras, via the Daily Record.

The Honduran international is reportedly interesting clubs in Portugal and Italy also.

Benguche is with Olimpia in his homeland.

Hearts launch legal action

Hibs to ask players for wage cuts

Hibs will ask players to take wage cuts, according to reports.

Currently, the Easter Road stars have part of their wage deferred.

Due to the difficulties faced the club have reportedly decided that cost-cutting measures are required.

RB Leipzig keen on Rangers target

Celtic and Rangers face competition from RB Leipzig for Ivan Toney.

The Old Firm have been linked with the Peterborough United striker after another positive season for the Posh.

The club’s owner Darragh MacAnthony expects plenty of interest in the 24-year-old as he confirmed Toney would be sold in the summer or January.

Clubs vote against league reconstruction

Hearts will play in the Championship next season.

The Daily Record report that clubs have put forward their voting plans for a 14-10-10-10 system and it has not gained enough support.

Three Premiership clubs are reported to be against the proposals.

Rangers lead race for £15m ace

Rangers are battling with West Brom to sign Ivan Toney, according to a report.

The Peterborough United striker will likely be sold this summer after a fantastic season for the Posh where he hit 26 goals in 39 matches.

Both Celtic and Rangers have been linked with a move, as well as a number of English clubs but it is understood the Ibrox side and the Baggies are the frontrunners.

Hearts eye Craig Gordon

Hearts will make a move to sign Craig Gordon, no matter what division they are in come the 2020/21 season.

The Daily Mail report that the goalkeeper is open to a return to Tynecastle.

Gordon is a free agent after his Celtic deal expired and has rejected the club’s opening offer to renew. He also has an offer from St Mirren.

The 37-year-old was linked with a move to Hearts in the summer.
