A Jambo in Tynecastle’s Gorgie Road end was about to tuck into his mid-game snack when Jamie Walker’s screamer sent his arms flying into the air, and the pie with it.

The fan presumed his lunch was lost, only to discover it sitting snuggly in the hood of the woman directly in front of him 20 minutes later.

He quickly snapped a picture and later uploaded it onto Facebook.

The caption above the photo read: “Dropped my pie when Hearts scored today thought it was a goner, 20 minutes later what do I see.....”

A screenshot of his Facebook post has since gone viral, making it onto the Lad Bible Facebook page and receiving over 200,000 likes.

Efforts to trace both individuals on fans forum Jambos Kickback have revealed conflicting reports, with one poster claiming the pie “was left where it fell” and another alleging the pie was gone from the woman’s hood when she got home.

The fate of the pie remains unknown.

There is no confirmation as to whether there was any sauce on the pie and if the woman’s jacket was any worse off for the experience.
