Lee McCulloch offered ban for Dale Carrick ‘stamp’
The incident took place during the first half of Sunday’s Scottish Cup clash, which Raith won 2-1 thanks to goals from Ryan Conroy and Christian Nade.

Challenging for a high ball close to the halfway line, McCulloch barged into the back of Carrick and then trod on the player when the on loan Hearts striker went to ground.

Hide AdThe SFA compliance officer is alleging McCulloch stepped on Carrick deliberately, thereby committing an act of violent conduct.
McCulloch has until 3pm on Wednesday to appeal the charge, which will be heard the following day if he chooses to do so.
If the charge is accepted McCulloch will be suspended for Rangers’ encounter with Hibernian on Friday night, while the second game ban will apply to next season’s Scottish Cup.
