Hearts sign Ross Stewart in quick-fire deal as Robbie Neilson reinforces his squad
Hearts have signed the Livingston goalkeeper Ross Stewart on loan after Colin Doyle moved to Kilmarnock.
Manager Robbie Neilson wants three keepers in his first-team squad and Stewart will compete with first-choice Craig Gordon and back-up Zdenek Zlamal.

Hide AdThe experienced Doyle moved to Rugby Park until January and Stewart’s loan deal runs for the same length of time as he replaces the Irishman in the Hearts squad.
“I’m happy we’ve managed to get someone with Ross’ experience in so quickly,” Neilson told the club website.
“With Colin Doyle going out to Kilmarnock and Harry Stone about to undergo minor surgery, it was imperative that we bring in another goalkeeper to work with Craig Gordon and Bobby Zlamal because before you know it we’ll be back playing competitive games.
“Ross has played both top-flight and Championship football so he has experience at good levels and I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to the squad.”

Hide AdStewart, 25, is Livingston’s third-choice goalkeeper and has played only 12 times for the West Lothian club since arriving from St Mirren in 2018.
He spent time on loan at Queen of the South last season and previously played for Albion Rovers and Motherwell.
He was keen on a move to Tynecastle Park and completed the paperwork this morning.
