Ex-Hearts ace Neil McCann takes interim charge of Inverness CT in John Robertson absence


Current boss and Tynecastle legend John Robertson is on compassionate leave following a recent family bereavement.
McCann has been out of management since 2018 when he left Dundee where he was on charge for 65 games.

Hide AdPrior to that the 46-year-old was part of Dunfermline Athletic’s coaching staff.
An Inverness statement read: “The club is pleased to announce that Neil McCann will take the position of Manager of ICTFC while John Robertson is on his compassionate leave.
“A further statement and full interview with Neil will appear on the ICTFC website tomorrow.”
McCann’s first game will be against Hearts on Friday.
Club chief Scott Gardiner gave an update on Robertson prior to tonight’s 2-2 draw with Alloa Athletic in the Championship.
"I spoke to John’s wife this morning and spoke to John this afternoon and he’s completely aware of it and very thankful,” he told the BBC.
