Scotland are in Israel for a crucial Nations League match, with much on the line – for the visitors AND the home manager.
Celtic are hoping there won’t be too much international disruption affecting their games and availability, post-break – especially after the effects of last month’s international camps on the Hoops’ dressing room and Neil Lennon’s selections.
News breaking from Hampden yesterday that Scottish Football Association compliance officer Claire Whyte is to leave the controversial post in the new year has also opened up much debate on the subject – her replacements and the role itself.
There’s much talk between the English top flight and the Scottish equivalent this morning too, while suggestions of teams dipping their toes into the transfer market – or pre-contract deals – already and the talk, gossip and speculation continues too... 2021 and the next window for doing deals is just over six weeks away remember.
Before then though there’s plenty of SPFL action to keep us all occupied – and Richard Foster has had his say on one of the big games over the weekend – but there’s still a Scotland match to come in Tel Aviv tomorrow night.
That’s likely to dominate the headlines for the coming days, but in the meantime – and behind the headlines – here’s the Scottish Premiership rumour mill for Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
