Hearts' injury woes mount ahead of Celtic clash

HEARTS manager Jim Jefferies has a mounting injury list ahead of his side's SPL clash against Celtic at Parkhead tomorrow night.

The new Tynecastle boss is without Ismael Bouzid who limped off during his side's Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final defeat to St Mirren last Tuesday.

Andrew Driver is also out for at least two games due to a recurring knee problem.

Jason Thomson and Ruben Palazuelos, who are both suffering knee injuries, are out of action for six weeks.

David Templeton, Craig Thomson, Johnny Stewart, Laryea Kingston, Arvydas Novikovas and Jamie MacDonald are also sidelined with long-term injuries.

Celtic boss Tony Mowbray has no new injury worries when selecting his team to face Hearts.

The Parkhead boss looks set to pair 18-year-old defender Josh Thompson alongside Glenn Loovens in central defence with Andreas Hinkel, Jos Hooiveld and Darren O'Dea still out injured.
