Hearts announce Christophe Berra as new club captain
Hearts have confirmed that new signing Christophe Berra has taken over the mantle of club captain.
Berra, 32, returned to Tynecastle yesterday following his release from Ipswich and signed a three-year deal. He also skippered the club during his first spell at Hearts.
The Scotland international defender takes over from American midfielder Perry Kitchen, who was club captain last season.
