Hamilton Accies 3 - 1 Dundee: Dundee despair as Accies shrug off penalty woe

HAMILTON came from behind to deservedly take the points and boost their hopes of a top-four finish in the First Division.

Controversy raged in 29 minutes when Dundee went in front from the spot after referee Alan Muir adjudged David Hutton had brought down Ryan Conroy as the two players slid in for the ball. Conroy netted the resultant penalty.

Accies levelled in 35 minutes when when a blunder by Rab Douglas, who dropped a Danny Redmond corner, allowed Mark McLaughlin to fire home. Four minutes after the restart, Accies went in front with a close-range Jon McShane header and the scoring was complete when Mark Stewart latched on to a Redmond pass.
