Queen’s take all the spoils as Berwick spoil for a fight.

Montrose 4, Elgin City 1

Goals from Garry Wood, Stephen McNally and Martin Boyle gave the home side an unassailable three-goal lead at half-time after which Ricky McIntosh added a fourth.

Paul Millar grabbed an 80th-minute consolation for Elgin after the hosts’ Sean Crighton was sent off.

The hosts’ Rory McAllister saw his early shot saved by David Crawford while at the other end Graeme Smith caught second-half efforts from Graham Weir and Jamie McCunnie.

Stirling’s Brian Allison was sent off for abusive language toward 
referee Paul Robertson.

Annan Athletic 1, East Stirling 2

After a forgettable first half, Andrew Stirling set up Jamie Glasgow for East Stirling’s 49th minute opening goal and eight minutes later Stirling was again the supplier for Jordan Holt to drill home a second.

Daniel Orsi scored in the 79th minute but a leveller proved elusive.

Queen’s Park 2, Berwick Rangers 1

DARREN Lavery fired the visitors into the lead only for Jamie Longworth to equalise with a crisp volley.

Berwick’s Kevin McDonald was sent off before Anthony McParland’s 61st-minute winner, before Queen’s Park’s Michael Keenan and Berwick’s Steven Notman were both dismissed.
