Watford's unlikely 3-0 victory over the once thought invincible Liverpool means that one or more of their players should feature front and centre in the latest edition of Fifa 20's Team of the Week (TOTW).

Stars from the Hornets side could include Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso who grabbed a brace against Bournemouth, and Wolves goalscorer Matt Doherty.

Outside the Premier League, impressive performances from Falcao, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Vinicius Junior should see them star in the team which is revealed at 3pm on Wednesday.

Goalkeeper

Vicente Guaita, Crystal Palace

Eight saves and a clean sheet should put Spaniard Vicente Guaita at the forefront of TOTW selectors plans this week.

Defenders

Marcos Alonso, Chelsea

The full-back may divide opinion among his own supporters, but against Bournemouth he helped his side earn a vital point in their race to the Champions League spots, scoring twice against Bournemouth.

Matt Doherty, Wolves

Outside Liverpool's duo of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, Matt Doherty has the most combined goals and assists of any defender in the Premier League this season. He added to his tally with a goal against Tottenham on Sunday and should feature in Wednesday's squad.

Joshua Kimmich, Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich's dead ball specialist, set up two teammates during the league leaders' bizarre 6-0 win over Hoffenheim. The German stands a good chance of collecting his second in-form of the season.

Midfielders

Ismaila Sarr, Watford

Lightning quick and, on Saturday's showing, deadly in front of goal, Ismaila Sarr ended Liverpool's dream of finishing the season unbeaten. A brace against the league leaders will see him handed a new and improved card.

Philippe Coutinho, Bayern Munich

Coutinho added two goals to his tally against Hoffenheim, both assured finishes from a player who appears to have found a home of sorts at the Allianz Arena.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Roma

The former Arsenal and Manchester United midfielder scored what proved to be the winning effort in Roma's 4-3 victory over Cagliari - expect him to feature in Wednesday's TOTW.

Luis Alberto, Lazio

Luis Alberto played a part in both of Lazio's goals in their 2-0 victory over Brescia, scoring once before assisting teammate Joaquin Correa.

Forwards

Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid

The decisive goal in Sunday's El Clasico all but guarantees Brazilian wonderkid Vinicius Junior a place in the upcoming Team of the Week.

Duvan Zapata, Atalanta

Atalanta were at their ruthless best against Lecce, racking up a heady seven goals, three of which came form Colombian forward Duvan Zapata.

Falcao, Galtasaray

Zapata's countryman Falcao was also on impressive form at the weekend, scoring twice for Galatasaray in a 3-0 victory over Ankara outfit Gençlerbirliği.
