Fans broadcast Edinburgh derby on Periscope amid TV blackout
Using Periscope, a live video streaming app own by Twitter, supporters at the match were able to broadcast the action live for friends and family (and their Twitter followers) who were unable to secure tickets for the sold out fixture.
Hibs won the match 1-0 thanks to an early Jason Cummings goal. The striker, along with Hearts’ Blazej Augustyn, would later be sent off, though the hosts held on for the win.
