Livingston 1 - 2 Falkirk: Falkirk come back

GARY Holt, the man expected to succeed Steven Pressley as Falkirk manager, watched the Bairns produce a gutsy comeback to turn over Livingston.

Livingston: Russell (pen 26); Falkirk: Higgins (62), Talbot (og 73)

The visitors began in lively fashion, David Weatherston striking the post following a slick passing move, but Livingston took the lead after Darren Dods dangled a leg in the path of Danny Mullen who tumbled inside the box, with Iain Russell netting the penalty.

Craig Sibbald, like teammate Weatherston, was left cursing the frame of the goal as his drive from distance kissed the bar.

Falkirk captain Dods made amends for his error after the break, nodding a corner towards Sean Higgins, who lashed a point-blank shot into the net.

A superb free-kick from Thomas Grant proved too good for make-shift Livi centre-back Jason Talbot, who headed into his own net before Iain Russell was shown a red card.
