Euro 2020: Watch big surprise Scotland hero David Marshall receives as he returns to Derby training

The brilliant moment Scottish football hero David Marshall was welcomed back to his club changing room has been caught on video.

The goalkeeper’s penalty shootout save against Serbia secured the Tartan Army’s place in next year’s Euro Championships.

It will be the first time since 1998 the national Scots team will have been at a major finals.

Shortly after Marshall’s epic save in Belgrade, the winning team paid tribute to him with a conga and song that had his name used in the lyrics of Whigfield hit Saturday Night.

Taking inspiration from a video of the Tartan Army singing their hearts out to Marshall, the goalkeeper’s Derby team-mates chose the song to be the centre of their welcome home party for the player.

It has been reported that Whigfield singer Sannie Charlotte Carlson has said she wishes to perform her hit-song from 1994 at the Euros in tribute to Scotland’s hero goalkeeper.
