Elgin face ‘biggest game’

Elgin City manager Ross Jack is hoping that his side can take another step towards creating history for the Borough Briggs club tonight by seeing off visitors Annan Athletic and moving closer to a first play-off place at the end of the season. A win would move Elgin six points clear in fourth place. Jack said: “I will be telling the players that this is the biggest game of the season and hopefully I will be saying that again and again as we look towards creating history.”

Captain Paul Kaczan remains out, with Jamie Duff struggling with a hamstring problem. Annan are looking to pick up what would be only their second win in a run of nine games that has seen them slip from third spot to fifth. Defender Peter Watson will return after injury.
