Both sides had chances before Stephen Tulloch volleyed the opener late in the first half.

Iain Campbell doubled the advantage from the penalty spot and Danny Denholm hit a third. Chris Templeman headed the fourth in the final minute.

Brechin City 1 - 3 Alloa Athletic

Andy Jackson nabbed his sixth goal of the season six minutes after half-time.

But Alloa stormed back as Robert Thomson converted Ryan McCord’s pass and Kevin Cawley then put them ahead after 74 minutes. Martin Grehin made sure with a late third.

East Fife 1 - 2 Albion Rovers

Scott McBride gave East Fife the lead after only a couple of minutes.

But Albion Rovers were level shortly before half-time when Jordan Forster put the ball into his own net on his debut and Keiran Brannon put them ahead midway through the second half for the victory.

Stranraer 2 - 0 Ayr United

Craig Malcolm scored twice in five minutes, Sean Winter the provider, to put Stranraer in control.

Michael Moffat and Mark Roberts had chances to get Ayr back into things but their day ended badly when Adam Hunter was sent off for serious foul play.
