Ayr moved ahead after 19 minutes when David Winters beat Callum Reidford. Stenhousemuir could not find a way past Alistair Brown until McMillan equalised.

Brechin City 1, Albion Rovers 0

Andy Jackson, earlier denied by Chris McCluskey, made no mistake after 16 minutes when he shot home the opener after good work by Jon Stewart.

He almost scored a second early in the second half but his first-half strike was to prove sufficient.

Queen of the South 2, Forfar Athletic 0

Relegated Queen of the South took the lead after 32 minutes when Derek Lyle netted.

Forfar’s Ross Campbell shot over and Iain Campbell was denied by Lee Robinson early in the second half. But Gavin Reilly wrapped up the points with a late goal for Queens.

Stranraer 1, Arbroath 1

Michael Moore struck midway through the first half to put Stranraer in front.

But Darren Gribben hauled Arbroath level within a minute of the restart. Robert Love came close for the home side after an hour but a draw was a fair result.
