DUNFERMLINE

It WAS a fairytale at Perth on Saturday, as Pars goalie Paul Gallacher retrieved another hairy Potter moment as he had done in our opening game. It was the third time Paul had saved a Liam Craig penalty and bringing Paul back to East End Park looks a shrewd move by Jim McIntyre.

Pars fans would have bitten off your hand had you offered them five points out of nine a month ago. Jim McIntyre paid tribute to the spirit of the players but was not getting carried away. The team have yet to meet a bigger SPL name, and facing Dundee United away will be a real test. We have to play them without either John Potter or Kevin Rutkiewicz. However, at McDiarmid Park, the defence was immense as Alex Keddie dominated in the air. Tough tackling Dowie may be pulled back at Tannadice.
