The pair have both signed two-year deals after impressing Dark Blues boss Paul Hartley during pre-season.

Striker Tankulic, 23, was attached to Borussia Dortmund for two years as a youth, before signing for Rot-Weiss Ahlen.

Since leaving Ahlen in 2011, he has appeared for the ‘B’ teams at Fortuna Dusseldorf, Mainz and Wolfsburg.

He impressed in Dundee’s 2-0 win over Manchester City, with his shot cannoning off Dedryck Boyata to give the Dark Blues a two-goal advantage.

Konrad, a central defender, also caught the eye in that victory.

Most recently with Eintracht Trier - who play in Germany’s fourth tier - Konrad has also turned out for Karlsruher SC’s first team and ‘B’ team.

Manager Paul Hartley told dundeefc.co.uk: “They impressed when we were away in Hungary and in the Manchester City game showed what they can do.

“They are both at a good age and fit into squad we are building. Another two good additions.”

Konrad and Tankulic join Kevin Thomson, James McPake, Philip Roberts, Scott Bain, Paul McGinn, Simon Ferry, Paul McGowan, Grant Adam and Gary Harkins as Hartley’s summer signings.
