Musselburgh boss Davy McGlynn is busy collecting a young squad with a view to building from scratch. He has brought in youngsters Dale Hornet, Jake Moyes, Jamie Lauder, Michael McKenna, Aaron Pontin, Andrew Sinclair and Ross McWilliams.
He does so in the knowledge that there is no relegation this campaign so he has a couple of seasons to build a squad of player capable of holding their own in the Super League.
Saturday’s game against Cove Rangers will be a litmus test as to how they will fair in the Super League this season.
