Division Two: Forfar Athletic 0-4 Queen of South

Champions Queen of the South went ahead through Michael Paton after 33 minutes.

Nicky Clark scored two goals in three minutes early in the second half to puncture Forfar’s play-off hopes and the striker completed his hat-trick five minutes from time.

East Fife 2, Alloa Athletic 1

Kevin Cawley missed an early chance for Alloa, but it was East Fife who took the lead on 39 minutes.

Collin Samuel set up Bobby Barr and he found the net with a right-foot shot. Paul Willis added a second goal after 56 minutes and Alloa replied through Jonathan Tiffoney.

Albion Rovers 3, Brechin City 1

Kevin Green gave Albion a shock 28th-minute lead and Chris Dallas made it 2-0 with a right-foot shot after 65 minutes before Alan Trouten pulled one back with a penalty.

David Crawford scored a last-minute spot-kick after Michael Andrews was sent off for Brechin.

Stenhousemuir 4, Ayr United 0

Sean Dickson headed Stenhousemuir in front after five minutes.John Gemmell made it 2-0 after 20 minutes and three minutes from the break he scored the third from the penalty spot after Chris Smith was sent off. Darren Smith grabbed the fourth in 56 minutes.

Arbroath 1, Stranraer 0

Player-manager Paul Sheerin put Arbroath in front with a left-footed shot after 25 minutes.

Stranraer tried to hit back in the second half, but were wasteful in front of goal and they could not find a way past the in-form goalkeeper Tony Bullock.
