David Moyes mocked over attempt to speak Spanish
A video of the newly appointed Real Sociedad manager trying to speak the local lingo at a press conference went viral.
The Glaswegian started the interview speaking English but then tried to show off his grasp of Spanish.

However, he could only manage the words “uno, dos, tres, cuatro” - Spanish for “one, two, three, four”.
The Scot had been describing how he was keeping an eye on his new club’s reserve players when he said: “I’ve seen the B team train uno, dos, tres, cuatro times.”
A video of the press conference quickly spread online and the Scot was ridiculed for his bumbling efforts.
Andy Jess wrote on Twitter: “David Moyes trying to speak Spanish, it’s like yer dad trying to order a meal on holiday... The waiter speaks better English than him.”
Sergi Dominguez posted: “Here’s David Moyes attempting to speak Spanish. Couldn’t have asked for a better laugh.”
Moyes efforts have been compared to Steve McLaren who spoke in a Dutch accent while manager of FC Twente in Holland.
And Joey Barton was mocked for speaking in a French accent during a Marseille press conference last year.

Hide AdMoyes has made a positive start to his time in Spain with a win and a draw in his first two games.
It is his first job since he was sacked by Manchester United after less than a year in the job following a miserable run of results.
His backroom staff at Real Sociedad are learning English so they can communicate better with him but Moyes is also said to have taken up Spanish lessons.
