The 32-year-old centre-back felt a twinge in his hamstring in the days leading up to the match and was left out as a precautionary measure in order to avoid further aggravating it.
The issue has subsided this week and McGregor will be available to face Steve Clarke’s team at Easter Road as Hibs look to get the victory that would secure a top-four finish in the Scottish Premiership for the first time in eight years.
The defender will be joined in returning to the squad this weekend by midfield duo Scott Allan and Marvin Bartley. Celtic loanee Allan was unable to play against his parent club last Saturday, while Bartley missed out through suspension.

The likely availability of all of those players means manager Neil Lennon will have selection issues aplenty to ponder ahead of naming his team to face Kilmarnock.
