Palace will host Dundee on 26 May, four days before the Scottish Cup final, to celebrate the goalkeeper’s achievement.

Speroni joined the Selhurst Park club in a £500,000 transfer from Dundee in 2004. He has since gone on to make 370 appearances for Palace, where he remains first choice under new manager Alan Pardrew.

Dundee were named as opponents at a special event to mark the start of the 35-year-old’s testimonial year. Speroni joined Dundee in 2001 from CA Platense of Buenos Aires and went on to make 113 starts, including the 2003 Scottish Cup final against Rangers.

Dundee have also announced that Speroni will be a special guest at a Hall of Fame dinner later this year.
