Craigroyston 4-1 Hawick: Royston sub sinks Hawick

Craigroyston opened the scoring when a Liam Young cross was headed down by
Stevie Moncur and Errol
Douglas finished well.

Despite having wind advantage in the second half, Craigroyston failed to take advantage and were made to pay when a Gordon Ramsay shot was parried by Burnside, allowing Hawick substitute Scott Watson to follow up and score.

Parity was short-lived, however, as a Bryan Wilson corner went straight in despite West’s and a defender’s best efforts to clear, and Craigroyston added a third when Wilson found John Dunn in space and his low cross was turned in by debutant Stevie McCormack. The substitute was also involved in Craigroyston’s final goal when he headed a Dunn cross into the path of Douglas, who volleyed in.
