Clarke swaps Pars for Raith Rovers

Striker Pat Clarke has joined Raith Rovers from Dunfermline. The 26-year-old has made three substitute appearances for Dunfermline this season and the move to Stark’s Park should see him enjoy more game time, especially if Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre follows up the interest he showed in Raith frontman John Baird earlier this season.

Elsewhere, Rangers youngster Darren Cole joins Partick Thistle on loan until the end of the season as a direct replacement for Conrad Balatoni who has left Firhill and returned to Hearts at the end of his temporary deal.

Cole, who turns 20 tomorrow, played in the Champions League for Rangers last season when he made his first-team debut in Turkey against Bursaspor and he signed a two-year contract extension with the Ibrox club in December 2010.
