CJ glad to have chucked football – but he's getting behind 'Burgh
Chukwuma Osazuwa, known as "CJ", joined 'Burgh after leaving Edinburgh Academy and enjoyed considerable success as a striker who was part of three trophy winning teams in 2008. But the 6ft 5in and 17st Osazuwa could not resist being tempted back to rugby with Heriot's having once trialled with English cracks, Northampton, in their academy set-up.
Says CJ: "I've no regrets about leaving Musselburgh and returning to rugby because that was where my heart lay. Musselburgh have gone onwards and upwards to become a Super League side since I left but a number of players I turned out alongside are still at Olivebank. I keep in close enough touch to know that the manager (David McGlynn) is doing extremely well and there are some exceptional players.
"I rate striker Chris King as the most talented player in the squad and both Calvin Shand and Paul Tansey can make a big impression against Auchinleck."
