Changing Room Chat: St Cuthbert take high road – again

JIM McCrossan reckons his St Cuthbert Wanderers side must be the unluckiest team in the Scottish Cup. The club from Kirkcudbright face a 600-mile round trip to the Highlands for the second time in this year’s competition.

They were drawn away to Keith in the preliminary round, away to Edinburgh University in the second and now Division Three leaders Elgin City.

McCrossan said: “Three ties this year and every one away, two of them away to the Highlands. We’ve had seven Highland teams in the last six years with five of them away. We must the unluckiest team in the Scottish Cup.”
