Changing Room Chat: Manchester United to unveil Alex Ferguson statue

MANCHESTER United are to unveil a statue of manager Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford later this month.

Ferguson, who was appointed 26 years ago yesterday and has been their most successful manager, will be honoured with the work by sculptor Philip Jackson, to be unveiled on Friday, 23 November. A statement on the club website read: “It will be in a prominent position near the entrance to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, formerly the North Stand, which was renamed in his honour last year.”
