Changing Room Chat: Bookies burst Dundee balloon

MOMENTS after Dundee were elevated to the SPL, they were being tipped to be relegated by bookmakers. Scottish firm McBookie.com installed Dundee as the 11-4 favourites to finish bottom of the league followed by Ross County at 10/3 and Inverness CT at 4/1.

McBookie.com’s Paul Petrie said: “We thought Dundee had the best squad in the First Division and had made them favourites to go up. However, the SPL is a different matter altogether, and we don’t think the squad is strong enough to keep them in the league.”
