Changing room chat: Becks appeal still reaping rewards

DAVID Beckham’s income from personal sponsorship deals rose by 30 per cent last year, signalling the enduring strength of the Los Angeles Galaxy player’s brand appeal.

According to figures released by Britain’s Companies House, revenue for the company which handles Beckham’s endorsements was £14.9 million in 2010 compared to £11.4 million in 2009.

The accounts also showed that Beckham received £11.6 million from the company compared with £9 million the previous year.
