Changing room chat: Ayr ask fans to stop park strife

THE white-hot atmosphere that has helped Ayr United see off Hibs, Inverness Caley and Hearts in cup competitions this year is to be dampened down slightly as Honest Men fans have been asked to stop throwing till rolls onto their Somerset Park pitch as it could lead to the club facing an increased bill for policing their ground.

A club spokesperson said: “Using till rolls as streamers is in violation of our Ground Regulations and can cause injury, interfere with play and make a mess on the terracing, track and pitch.”
