Celtic's striking options

GARY HOOPERSigned from Scunthorpe United for £2.4 million, the 22-year-old has yet to play in the SPL after suffering a calf injury in a pre-season game against Blackburn.

DARYL MURPHY

The Republic of Ireland striker, signed from Sunderland for 1.2 million in July, has scored once for Celtic so far with a penalty winner against Motherwell at Fir Park.

GEORGIOS SAMARAS

The Greek international has yet to score in the SPL this season, but his performances have persuaded Neil Lennon he merits new contract negotiations at the club.

ANTHONY STOKES

The deadline-day 1.2 million capture from Hibs made a winning debut against Hearts last Saturday, but was unable to mark it with a goal.

MORTEN RASMUSSEN

The Danish international, signed by Tony Mowbray in January, has been loaned to Mainz in Germany for the season and has scored twice in his first three games.

PAUL McGOWAN

Given a new contract by Neil Lennon in the summer, the 22-year has been loaned to St Mirren for the season. Has scored once for the Paisley club so far, but was sent off in last Saturday's defeat at Kilmarnock.

BEN HUTCHINSON

The 22-year-old has joined Lincoln City on a season-long loan and scored his second goal for Chris Sutton's League 2 side in their 1-0 win at home to Barnet last Saturday.
