CELTIC’s No 1 fan Jay Beatty gave Hoops skipper Scott Brown a taste of his own medicine - by ‘doing the Broony’ in front of the captain after Celtic’s 4-0 win over Aberdeen at the weekend.

The 11-year-old from Northern Ireland was at Celtic Park to pick up his SPFL Goal of the Month award, and replicated Ronny Deila’s ‘Ronny Roar’ for the home fans before Charlie Mulgrew handed over the gong.

And post-match, the youngster visited the Hoops squad in the dressing room, high-fiving midfielder Liam Henderson before confronting Brown with his own celebration.

Brown’s arms-outstretched pose comes from an Old Firm match in 2011 when he celebrated a goal in front of then Rangers midfielder El Hadji Diouf.

Perhaps Wee Jay’s celebration will be dubbed ‘Doing the Beatty?’
