Video: Celtic fans attacked in Amsterdam
CCTV video has emerged showing Celtic fans being attacked by Ajax supporters ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash in Amsterdam.
The video shows the scene outside the Old Sailor Cafe in the red light district of the Dutch capital, as a large group of hooded men descend on the cafe. The men are then seen attacking the outside of the cafe, as well as attacking those inside.
Celtic issued a statement on their website today urging travelling supporters to be extra vigilant following the attack.
Nine people were arrested following the incident, according to police.
