Thieves raid ex-Celtic star Victor Wanyama’s home

FORMER Celtic star Victor Wanyama’s home was targeted by thieves while he was away playing for Southampton against Aston Villa on Monday.

Wanyama returned home from the game in the early hours to find that raiders had stolen items including jewellery, designer clothes, electronic devices, three TVs and his £60,000 car.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers are investigating a burglary at a house in Winchester. Entry was forced between 8.30am on November 23 and 2.15 am on November 25”

The police also confirmed that they had later recovered the football star’s Range Rover Sport in Iver, Buckinghamshire.
