Lennon to hold crunch talks with Dermot Desmond

Celtic manager Neil Lennon will hold talks with the Parkhead club’s majority shareholder Dermot Desmont at the end of May in which he will discuss his own contract and funds for building the team ahead of this season’s Champions League.

Lennon is on a rolling one year contract which is reported to be worth around £800,000 a year plus bonuses.

The Parkhead manager was this week linked with a move to Everton following the departure of David Moyes to Manchester United.

The Parkhead side made a loan move for the £2m-rated player in January.

On loan Hibs forward Leigh Griffiths and his agent will meet with Wolves representatives this week to discuss his future with the Black Country club.

Wolves are without a manager and have just been relegated to the third tier of English football.
