Snoop Dogg welcome to invest in Celtic - but only if I’m invited to one of his parties, says Neil Lennon

CELTIC manager Neil Lennon has welcomed Snoop Dogg’s interest in purchasing Celtic shares - but only if the rapper invites him to one of his parties.

Snoop Dogg declared an interest in investing in the Parkhead club after watching Celtic beat Barcelona 2-1 in the Champions League, thanks to goals from Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt.

The rapper said he was impressed by fans’ passion, adding he “wanted to bring a bit of Snoop to things.”

He added that, should he acquire shares in Celtic, he would mount a bid to buy LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham, who today announced his intention to leave the MLS club for “one last challenge.”

When asked about Snoop Dogg’s prospective involvement in the club, Lennon said: “It would be interesting if he did put money in.

“As long as I got invited to one of his parties, it would be OK.”
