That’s it from us after what was a very entertaining day in the Scottish Premiership. Goals in every game, only one of eight teams failed to scored, and every single match went down to the final seconds.
Enjoy the rest of you Saturday!
Dundee United back to winning ways!
Another team who made things difficult on themselves. The hosts seemed to be cruising at 2-0 thanks to goals from Lawrence Shankland and Adrian Sporle, not to mention a red card given to St Mirren’s Richard Tait.
A mistake from Mark Reynolds led to Dylan Connolly pulling a goal back, though they were ultimately able to regroup themselves and see the game out.
Dundee United 2 St Mirren 1
Ten-man Kilmarnock emerge victorious
Killie overcame a double whammy in the first half of conceding a quick equaliser after going in front and then having striker Eamonn Brophy sent off.
They were the better team after the break and took all three points through a Nicke Kabamba goal.
Kilmarnock 2 Hamilton 1
Celtic go top of the table!
They made harder work of it than expected, but Celtic have gone top of the table for at least 21 hours.
The champions had to fight back from an early setback as Jason Holt tucked away a penalty with Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie scoring twice in quick succession. Albian Ajeti appeared to have taken care of things with a second-half goal but Julien Serrano fired the visitors back into the end.
Livingston wasted a great chance in injury-time and will rue a great opportunity to have taken points off Neil Lennon’s men.
Celtic 3 Livingston 2
Big win for County!
Vigurs’ first half goal proves to be the difference as St Johnstone’s struggles in front of goal continue. Scott Tanser hit the bar in the second period but the home side struggled to create across the 90 minutes.
St Johnstone 0 Ross County 1
Goal for Livingston!
What a hit! Julien Serrano scores a belter at Celtic Park and Livingston are right back in it. Just over 10 minutes to go.
Celtic 3 Livingston 2
Goal for St Mirren!
Dylan Connolly has brought St Mirren back into the match, taking full advantage of a big mistake from Mark Reynolds.
Dundee United 2 St Mirren 1
Red card at Tannadice!
Richard Tait has gone right through the back of Logan Chalmers with a completely wild challenge and he’s been shown a straight red card.
St Mirren are two goals down and now a man down.
