By all accounts it is going to be a long time before football fans are back in stadiums cheering on their team with more realistic views taking place on large gatherings as countries begin to look at exit strategies from the current lockdown measures.
The fear is a second wave of coronavirus. Ireland have banned mass gatherings of more than 5,000 people until the autumn, while in the Netherlands major events have been banned until September. The SPFL are looking at solutions which will involve meetings with the Scottish Government.
