Rangers wary over Fulham Warburton approach

The Ibrox side fear they may lose manager Mark Warburton to Fulham after it emerged the London club have shortlisted the Rangers manager for their vacant manager’s position. Rangers liquidators confident of EBT appeal victory

Rangers’ oldco liquidators have asked for leave to appeal the long standing Ibrox ‘Big Tax Case’ – to the Supreme Court in London.

If leave to appeal is granted by the Court of Session in Edinburgh, the debate about the propriety of 15 honours won by Rangers between 2001 and 2011 will be shelved for at least another year. (Scotsman)

Brighton sign Richie Towell

Brighton have agreed to sign midfielder Richie Towell from Irish side Dundalk.

The 24-year-old Dubliner has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract and will formally complete his move when the transfer window reopens in January.

Towell previously had a two-year spell at Celtic, during which he made one first-team appearance for the Bhoys and was twice loaned to Hibernian. (BBC)

Rangers ready for Celtic cup clash - Kiernan

“I am the one who is in genuine debate as to how well Celtic and Rangers will do in the English Premier League,” said Hislop on the ESPN FC show on BT Sport/ESPN on Friday evening. “That’s not even a discussion worth having, whether they would fare or avoid relegation.”

“Celtic and Rangers are the two biggest clubs of Scotland, but they will struggle in the Premier League.”

Dundee United need strong character - Mixu
