Paul Hartley and Dundee made to sweat

Dundee boss Paul Hartley branded Morton amateurs after they lost 10-2 to Hamilton and almost cost Dundee the chance for promotion. The Dens side beat Dumbarton 2-1 but almost conceded a second penalty, that would have seen them lose out to Hamilton on goal difference in the bid for promotion. He said: “When do you see a game finishing 10-2 on the last day? You don’t even see that in amateur football. If you’re a professional football team you shouldn’t lose 10-2 but we did the business.” The Dundee boss also believes his team were lucky not to concede a second penalty, saying: “It looked like Dumbarton could have had another penalty but you get the decisions going your way at times to win a game. Overall we dominated the game.” (Various)
